The internationally recognized Montessori Center of Minnesota (MCM) has offered rigorous, high-quality, hands-on training in Dr. Montessori’s proven method of education to leading Montessori teachers for more than 40 years. Located in a beautiful state-of-the-art facility in St. Paul, MN, MCM provides teacher training students from around the world with the rare opportunity to observe, practice, study and make materials in one location. Training is available for primary and elementary teachers as well as assistants.
MCM’s facility on the East Side of St. Paul offers a 30,000-square-foot training center with a practice environment, fully equipped and spacious materials making studio, study areas, and Cornerstone Montessori School (CMS), a school for children ages 16 months to 6 years from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. Also on-site is Cornerstone Montessori Elementary School (CMES), a separate public charter school for grades K-6, offering early childhood families the opportunity to continue Montessori education. MCM also houses a one-of-a-kind International Montessori Museum where trainees and visitors can explore the roots of the Montessori movement.
