The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is a public corporation that provide coordinated aviation services throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The MAC operates one of the largest airport systems in the nation, which includes MSP and six general aviation airports. Together these airports help drive the region's economy and job growth while providing quick, easy access to destinations around the globe.
The MAC is hiring for a Project Manager, Civil Engineer – Aviation. This role will be responsible for initiate, schedule, and implement a broad range of aviation related projects and programs outlined in the MAC Capital Improvement Program (CIP). In addition to the implementation of, and the cost/budgeting accountability for, assigned Commission-approved civil engineering development projects at the Minneapolis – Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) and the Reliever Airports. Technical responsibilities include working directly with architectural, engineering, and construction management consultants and overseeing the development of design studies, project plans, specifications, and reports pertaining to CIP projects. In addition, this position will work closely with other MAC departments, municipalities, airport tenants and other governmental jurisdictions as required. Other responsibilities will include directing consultants in the preparation of feasibility studies and preliminary reports to establish costs, priorities and timing for projects in the CIP.
